How to Use ISOLUTION® – Oral Consumption

  1. Stir one serving of ISOLUTION® into at least 1/2 cup (125 mL) of liquid or soft foods, or as directed. For best results: Liquid first, then protein.

Note: ISOLUTION® starts to denature at 149 °F / 65 °C. For this reason, mix into foods (i.e. soup) or beverages (i.e. coffee) below this temperature to ensure the protein does not change texture.

How to Use ISOLUTION® – Tube Feeding

  1. Mix one to three servings of ISOLUTION® into 60-120mL of water.
  2. Stir until completely dissolved. Flush tube with 30-60mL of water.
  3. Administer ISOLUTION® and water mixture into feeding tube via syringe.
  4. Flush tube with another 30-60mL of water.

ISOLUTION® Precautions

  • ISOLUTION® contains milk and dairy products (Trace Lactose: 0.03g per serving).
  • ISOLUTION® is not nutritionally complete and should not be used as a sole source of nutrition.

ISOLUTION® Contraindications

  • Not suitable for those with galactosemia.
  • Not suitable for children under the age of 3.
  • Not for parenteral use.
